Flikeid, a Life Boy Scout at Troop 1099, presented the results of his Eagle Scout project to the Forsyth County Juvenile Court on Dec. 23.

Flikeid’s project was to collect stuffed animals and blankets for children experiencing difficult home situations and being served by the Forsyth County Juvenile Courts. His goal was to collect 200 to 500 items. He was able to collect 2,000.

Flikeid led a team of Scouts and friends to collect, sort and count items from several neighborhoods in the area. Additionally, a large donation of stuffed animals was made by Coca-Cola employees.

These items will be distributed by the Forsyth County Juvenile Court to several agencies throughout the Forsyth County area, including Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and Supporting Adoption and Foster Families Together Inc. (SAFFT).
