JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – The Rotary Club of Johns Creek – North Fulton had its chartering ceremony Tuesday, April 16, at the Atlanta Athletic Club.
Club members and distinguished guests gathered for the ceremony, held from noon to 1:30 p.m.
“We are pleased with the way that the Johns Creek community has rallied around the creation of the Rotary Club of Johns Creek – North Fulton, whose mission is to improve the lives of people who live, work and play in Johns Creek,” said Rory Robichaux, president of the club.
“Our recent financial donations to support both of the Johns Creek libraries, the rehabilitation of the home of a local veteran and our ongoing commitment to many Johns Creek organizations reinforce our support for the city and people of Johns Creek.”
The Rotary Club of Johns Creek – North Fulton plans to continue its support of regional and global initiatives such as Habitat for Humanity, military veterans and awareness of human trafficking, as well as Rotary International’s global initiatives to eradicate polio and bring clean drinking water to people in less-developed countries in the world.
“Our club takes great pride in its efforts to support the global community through Rotary International,” said Robichaux.
