Roswell students get close look at marine life

ROSWELL, Ga. – Fifth-grade students in River Eves Elementary School’s talented and gifted (TAG) program concluded their study of Georgia’s Golden Coast April 13 by dissecting starfish, perch and squid. All of these special creatures live in the oceans near the Georgia coast, and the students had a challenging time trying to discover the different parts of the creatures and what makes them work. They found that some of the circulatory systems and other parts were quite different than those of humans.
