Roswell seeks attempted rapist



ROSWELL, Ga. - The Roswell police Departmentlooking for Isauro Hernandez-Acosta for an attempted rape that occurred at The Crossings at Woodbridge Apartments (formally Woodcrossing Apartments), located off of Old Holcomb Bridge Way, in Roswell.

On Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at 5:30 a.m. the Roswell Police responded to a call of an attempted rape. Hernandez-Acosta allegedly tried to rape the 15-year-old daughter of his girlfriend. The stepdaughter was able to scream for help, and her mother was able to fend off the attack by cutting and stabbing her boyfriend several times with a knife. The suspect fled from the apartment complex on foot. He does not have a vehicle. He may show up at a hospital with multiple stab injuries.

Warrants were issued for attempted rape and aggravated assault to commit rape.

Isauro Hernandez-Acosta is a 30-year-old male with brown hair and brown eyes. 5’7” and 165lbs.
