Roswell roommate threatened with machete, gun

ROSWELL, Ga. – A man was arrested July 16 after allegedly threatening his roommate with a machete and a pistol.

The victim called 911 about 3:30 a.m. saying he got into an argument with his roommate, Ramon Arturo Pacheco, 36, of Forrest Street, Roswell. Pacheco was said to have pulled a machete and said to the victim, “I’ll kill you with this, and if this doesn’t work, this will,” at which point Pacheco pulled a small pistol and pointed it at the victim.

The victim fled the house and called police. When officers arrived, they found Pacheco sitting in the residence. Witnesses confirmed what the victim said. Pacheco said the victim had threatened him, but at no point was a gun displayed. Pacheco was arrested and charged with pointing a gun at another person, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during a crime.
