Roswell man arrested for indecent exposure

Allegedly accosted 16-year-old

ROSWELL, Ga. – A Roswell man is accused exposing himself March 3 to a 16-year-old Roswell girl at a public shopping center.

Police say the victim was walking through the parking lot of the Walmart on Mansell Road at 3 p.m. when a yellow Corvette pulled up beside her.

“He asked if she needed a ride,” said Roswell Police spokeswoman Lisa Holland. “She approached his car and he exposed himself to her.”

The girl ran off and called police, but the suspect drove off before they could arrive.

Five days later, March 8, police arrested Brett Jay Williams, 54, of Roswell Green Lane, Roswell, on public indecency charges and enticing a child for indecent purposes.

Holland said the car was the give-away.

“We worked on tips [to find him],” she said. “The bright yellow car was a big lead.”

Police suspect Williams was involved in similar incidents and are seeking more victims who may have been accosted.

“He admitted to doing this a lot,” she said. “The other victims were teenage girls as well.”

Williams is in Fulton County Jail, held without bond.
