Robber disguised as Bible saleswoman

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — A blonde woman knocked on the door of a lakefront home off Pilgrim Mill Road offering religious pamphlets.

The woman said she was selling children’s bibles.

About 3:40 p.m., the 52-year-old homeowner opened the door of her home in the 3700 block of Tamiami Trail.

“At this point several other suspects forced their way into the home along with the female and attempted to commit an armed robbery at the residence,” said Doug Rainwater, a Forsyth County Sheriff spokesman.

After the woman opened the door, she was rushed and beat up by two masked men, according to an incident report. The victim was taken by paramedics to Northside Hospital Forsyth for treatment.

The suspects then fled prior to The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office arrival.

According to an alert issued by the sheriff’s office, the woman is described as being 5-foot-9-inches tall with “crystal blue eyes and shoulder length hair. She is described as “attractive” and with a “young person build.”

The suspect was with more than one black male wearing dark hoodies and masks.

Deputies are also on the lookout for a late model Toyota Camry white or pearl in color.
