Rifle stolen from Forsyth County home



FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. —A thief ransacked a Gainesville home and stole a rifle, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s incident report.

At 2 p.m. April 9, a woman told deputies she arrived home in the 7800 block of Bethel Road and saw the front door was open and cabinets in every room were open.

The only thing missing from the home was a Savage Arms .22 rifle.

Deputies found a large shoe impression on the door.

The rifle is valued at $200.
