FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Reaping Nature Educational Outreach and Friends of Tony, two Forsyth County-based nonprofit organizations, held their first annual Five Points Challenge 5K at the Windermere Golf Club on Nov. 16.
The race was held to promote awareness of the organizations’ causes, childhood cancer and the environment.
The Five Points Challenge 5K had 235 registrants and raised more than $3,500 for each organization.
“Friends of Tony and Reaping Nature are grateful for the support and help of so many, and are looking forward to exploring ways in which we can grow in our community and expand our outreach,” said Denise Carleton, executive director of Reaping Nature.
