ROSWELL, Ga. — The newly established Roswell High School Athletic Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for its inaugural group of inductees who will be honored at a ceremony in October.
The Hall of Fame was formed to honor and recognize athletes, coaches, administrators and other community contributors who have achieved noteworthy accomplishments for athletic programs at Roswell High School.
Induction into the HOF will be the highest honor the athletic department can bestow upon an individual. To be considered, athletes must be an alumnus from RHS of at least 10 years minimum and a coach or administrator must be retired and have spent at least five years serving RHS. A community contributor to Roswell athletics may be nominated at any time. Subsequent nominations for any category may be offered at any time.
The first group of inductees will be honored at an induction banquet Oct. 17. Each inductee will be recognized at the RHS football game the next day, Oct. 18, and all inductees’ names will be displayed permanently at the school.
