CUMMING, Ga. — Four men and a woman stole items from a man’s home and thought no one witnessed the theft, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s incident report.
What they did not know was the homeowner monitored his property with security cameras.
A man in the 3000 block of Canton Highway told deputies he watched footage and in which the suspects drove onto his property April 6 when he was not home about 2:45 p.m.
The woman pulled up in a silver Ford Focus and the four men pulled up in a Ford F-150 pickup truck.
They walked onto the man’s side porch and took an $800 TV cabinet, $60 wheelbarrow and $15 sleeping bag.
They also took a trashed mattress and couch and loaded all the items into the truck.
The suspects got into their cars and took off traveling east on Canton Highway.
Deputies said they left behind other valuable items like a TV and garden tractor.
