Price Reflects on the 10th Anniversary of the September 11th Attacks

Washington, D.C. – House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Tom Price, M.D. (R-GA) issued the following statement in recognition of the 10th Anniversary of the September 11th attacks.

“Today we stand as we did ten years ago, united in our resolve to bring justice to our enemies and defend the freedoms we hold so dear,” said Chairman Price. “September 11th was a test of our strength as a nation, and in the decade since, we have demonstrated the greatness of the American people and the American spirit. Our military and intelligence communities have stood valiantly on the front lines to protect American families and remain ever ready to sacrifice their own lives so that others might live free. In the days and years following those horrific attacks, the American people have made clear to friend and foe alike that America will not cower, and we will not stand idly by and allow such senseless acts of terror to go unanswered. So as we remember the lives lost and reflect on the past decade, we offer thoughts and prayers to all those lost on that day and in the years since. May God continue to bless the United States of America.”
