CUMMING, Ga — With the first games of the season being played for volleyball, two Forsyth County Schools are spiking opponents.
South Forsyth won games played at home against Cambridge and Mill Creek.
First dispatched by the Lady War Eagles was Cambridge, with the two games ending 25-10 and 25-16. After that, the South Forsyth team went on to defeat Mill Creek, in games scoring 25-16 and 25-14.
Forsyth Central is also off to a strong start to their season.
In a game against their rival, North Forsyth, Central won the match in four sets, with games scoring 25-17, 18-25, 25-21 and 25-22.
Despite North Forsyth’s 23 service aces throughout the match, the Forsyth Central Bulldogs came out on top.
The results of these games may not predict the entire season, but do show potential for the remainder.
