ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Established in 2009, the Partnership of the Year Award serves to recognize the many outstanding Partners in Education throughout North Fulton.
This year’s winners were awarded at the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce’s Eggs and Enterprise breakfast last month, said Paul Anderson, GNFCC Education Committee chair.
In the small business category, the winner is Friends of the Alpharetta Library – Gerrie Fornek and Ben Statham – for their partnership with Alpharetta Elementary (Adam Maroney, principal). As the nominating school, Alpharetta Elementary received a $250 check.
In the large business category, the winner is Northside Hospital Foundation – Nancy Belknap – for its partnership with Northwood Elementary (Ritu Ahuja, principal). As the nominating school, Northwood received a $250 check.
