FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — A watchful neighbor saw flashlights in her neighbor’s yard when she knew no one was home and called authorities, according to a Forsyth County Deputy’s report.

Benjamin Dale Miller, 19, of Flowery Branch, Thomas Scott Davis, 19 of Gainesville and a 17-year old from Buford, were arrested and charged with first-degree burglary.

At 2:30 a.m. March 29, a woman in the 1600 block of Eaglerock Drive called deputies when she saw flashlights in her neighbor’s yard. She knew her neighbors were out of town and no one was expected at the Suwanee residence.

The neighbor said she then saw three people get into a dark-colored car and drive out of the subdivision.

Deputies spotted a nearby car matching the description.

When deputies interviewed the men separately, each one told a different story about why they were at the residence.

One of the deputies returned to the home to inspect the residence and found pry marks on a door frame.

Miller, Davis and the juvenile were arrested and transported to the North Precinct Criminal Investigation office.
