ALPHARETTA, Ga. –The second annual 2011 Eric Snow Sports Verizon Holiday
Classic will welcome 10 exciting high school basketball teams and a very talented class of standout student-athletes, including several from North Fulton schools, to Knights Arena located on the campus of River Ridge High School on Saturday, Nov. 19.
This high flying, rim rattling five-game basketball extravaganza will showcase some of Georgia’s and Alabama’s best high school talent and will tip-off the Georgia high school basketball season with some of the best match-ups of the season. It will also feature several nationally ranked players in the country, including Centennial High School’s Charles Pack and Royce Nwabude and St. Francis’s Damon Williams.
St. Francis will tip off against Dutchtown at 2:30 p.m. and the Centennial Knights will face off against the Berkmar Patriots at 4:30 p.m.
“We are very excited to host some of Georgia’s best coaches, players and teams in our event,” said Eric Snow, 14-year former NBA player. “The fans will thoroughly enjoy the match ups throughout the day…This is an event basketball fans will love.
