New homeschool opens Sept. 2

ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Rising High Homeschool Academy (RH) is a new homeschool in the Cumming, Alpharetta, Johns Creek and Roswell area founded by a recently retired teacher.

The school’s opening date is Sept. 2. Students will have assigned independent work to complete at home. RH will mainly focus on language arts and math, and students will receive report cards four times a year showing progress in those areas of study.

Founder and Director Sondra Anderson also consults with parents who are homeschooling their children.

Rising High Homeschool Academy differs from the traditional public school in that instructional time will be maximized and students can complete assignments as their personal schedule permits.

The monthly tuition fee is comparable to other homeschools in the area.

At RH, students will receive personal attention and have easy access to instructors. An information meeting will be held Saturday, July 26.
