N.F. Hospital opens 52,000-square-foot office building

Houses pain management and diagnostic services

ROSWELL, Ga. — North Fulton’s newest Class A office space opened up Oct. 11 as part of North Fulton Hospital’s latest expansion.

The 52,000-square-foot building houses medical offices and equipment geared toward helping streamline and enhance the patient experience at the hospital.

“This new facility is an important commitment by North Fulton Hospital to meet the local need for a state-of-the-art medical office building,” said Debbie Keel, CEO of North Fulton Hospital. “This will build on our more than a quarter of a century of service to residents and strengthen our ties to the community. We also expect the new facility will serve as an excellent tool for recruiting talented physicians.”

The new facility provides the hospital with an opportunity to grow their pain management and diagnostic imaging services in an updated, functional-design layout. Two of the hospital’s core outpatient facilities — the Pain and Spine Center and Roswell Imaging Center — were open for the public to tour, and offered glimpses into the layout of the new offices.

“It’s more patient-friendly,” said breast health nurse Micah Brown. “It’s not so intimidating for the patient [as a traditional hospital setting]. We’ve already seen an improvement.”

Consultation rooms are just around the corner from doctors’ offices to make office visits easier for everyone, and entrances are divided by gender for privacy and comfort, Brown said. Spa-like design elements are in the registration area and Roswell Imaging Center, as well as a women’s imaging and diagnostic center.

“North Fulton Hospital is an integral part of North Fulton,” said Steve Stroud, of the Roswell Business Alliance. “We know this will continue to bring in new doctors, technology groups. There are a lot of positives to having a space like this.

“This is exactly what the doctor ordered.”
