MILTON, Ga. — The Milton Police department will hold two Mother's Against Drunk Driving workshops on Saturday, August 4 from 4 - 5 p.m. at City Hall, 13000 Deerfield Pkwy, Ste. 107, Milton.
The free Power of Parenting and Power of Youth workshops, one for parents and another for teens, will last 30 minutes each and are for both parents and teens.
The Power of Parenting workshop will provide parents with ways to talk to their children about alcohol.
A parent handbook is included.
Teens will learn how underage drinking can negatively impact their lives and how not to give in to peer pressure along with ways to avoid driving with someone who has been drinking.
The Power of Youth workshop is open to middle school and high school aged youth.
