MILTON, Ga. – Milton High School held its first-ever Kindness Week Oct. 28 through Nov. 1. Each day featured a different theme to encourage students and staff to engage outside of their normal routine to give and be kind. Monday was “Hey Day,” in which students were encouraged to say hello to anyone and everyone. Tuesday was “National Mix It Up Day,” where students mixed it up in the cafeteria, spending time with someone they might not normally sit with. Wednesday was “Cans and Coats Day,” a charity drive. For Halloween, students participated in “Treat and Tweet Day,” in which they performed a random act of kindness and Tweeted about it. Friday was “Appreciation Day.” All students received a letter thanking them for their contribution to the school and were encouraged to pass it on.
