ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Due to forecasted rain last weekend, the closure of McGinnis Ferry Road between Union Hill Road and McFarland Parkway was rescheduled for May 3 through May 6. The road closure will be in effect starting Friday, May 3 at 7 p.m. and is scheduled to reopen on Monday, May 6 at 5 a.m. Only access to the local businesses inside the closure limits will be permitted.
During the closure, eastbound and westbound traffic on McGinnis Ferry Road will be detoured to Ronald Reagan Boulevard.
This road closure is necessary to facilitate repairs to the bridge over Big Creek. For more information about the road closure, contact the Department of Engineering and Public Works at 678-297-6200.
