Man cited for being homeless in Roswell

ROSWELL, Ga. – A homeless man was cited for “urban camping” April 11 after police spotted him sleeping in his car.

Officers on patrol along Holcomb Bridge Road noticed a dog tied to a Mitsubishi Galant at 4:21 a.m. Checking the vehicle, police found the man asleep inside the car. He told police he was a landscaping day laborer looking to find a place to sleep for the night.

Police noted they had cited the man several times in the past for sleeping in public places and leaving his dog locked in his car.

The man was cited and warned.
