FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office arrested an armed robber on May 20.
Arno C. Lamb III, 30, was charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault in reference to a gas station armed robbery.
On May 13, between 8:20 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., a man later identified as Lamb, entered the Chevron store at 3275 Dahlonega Highway in Cumming carrying a “semi-automatic style handgun” and demanded cash.
Lamb allegedly took about $2,000 in cash during the robbery.
Sheriff’s deputies say Lamb displayed the handgun the entire time he was in the store.
A man and his father had pulled into the gas station as Lamb was walking out of the store.
They told deputies the robber had his hat pulled down low and wore sunglasses and black gloves.
Lamb was taken to Forsyth County Jail and is awaiting trial.
