ALPHARETTA, Ga. – A Cumming resident was arrested twice May 14 and 15 for DUI.
Police were initially called to a Windward Parkway bank about a driver passed out behind the wheel. They found Geoffrey Michael Gallo, 24, of Cumming, in the vehicle, unconscious with a bottle of pills in his lap. He had taken a dozen pills and was allegedly high on heroin. In the passenger seat was a bag with a syringe and more pills. He was arrested for DUI-drugs and possession of drug-related paraphernalia.
The next night, at 5:07 p.m., 911 calls came in about a possible impaired driver on Ga. 400 near Mansell Road. Witnesses said the car almost hit several other vehicles and the median wall.
Gallo was again pulled over and again charged with DUI-drugs and failure to maintain lane.
