ROSWELL, Ga. – The 2014 Magnolia Ball will be held at the Country Club of Roswell, Saturday, June 7 at 6:30 p.m.
This gala event will feature a fabulous evening of cocktails, live and silent auctions, dinner and dancing to the ever popular band Grapevine.
All proceeds go to the preservation of Bulloch Hall, the 1839 childhood home of Mittie Bulloch, President Theodore Roosevelt’s mother.
Previous balls have paid for the restoration of the service yard and carriage house on the historic site. The monies raised from this year’s Magnolia Ball will be dedicated to the restoration of the area on the north side of the property known as “Orchard Hill.” An amphitheater will be constructed next to the pond for outdoor educational programs for children and adults. The hill will highlight native vegetation and fruit trees and will feature a rooftop garden on the old shed. Existing natural paths will be expanded and dedicated signage of points of interest will be added.
Tickets are $150 per person. Reservations can be made by calling 770-992-1731, ext. 2. For more information, visit www.bullochhall.org.
