ALPHARETTA, Ga. – It was not Lucky’s lucky day, when he was arrested April 15 for DUI.
Police were called to the Publix grocery store on Haynes Bridge Road at 12:30 a.m. that morning after a Nissan Maxima had run off the road near the entrance. Four people were inside.
One man, the alleged driver, was Lucky T. Banda, 37, of Kennesaw, initially denied driving. He told police that one of his passengers was instead driving, although they denied this.
Then Banda allegedly claimed he and one of the passengers had “swapped off” driving down the road.
Banda was arrested for DUI.
