ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Loving Hands Animal Clinic will celebrate its 20th anniversary this Sunday, Oct. 6, in the form of a fun-filled fall festival.
The festival, open to all, will take place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 13775 Highway 9 North in Alpharetta.
“It’s going to have a carnival theme to it,” said Tamaia Lynch, client service manager at Loving Hands. “There will be a kid’s corner with face painting, games, balloons, snow cones and popcorn.”
Festival-goers can look forward to continued entertainment with contests for both children and pets, including a “best dressed pet” contest.
Lynch added that different rescue groups will be present at the event, along with an “ask a vet” booth and a variety of vendors.
“It’s always such a fun event – we have a great turnout every year and I’m looking forward to hanging out with the kids and doing little activities with them,” Lynch said.
Loving Hands Animal Clinic was opened by Dr. JoAnne Roesner and has been in the community since 1993.
In addition to having four main veterinarians, the clinic works to rescue animals and find them good homes, teach responsible pet care in the community through programs and seminars, make service dogs available to the handicapped and mentor veterinary students.
