Keep Forsyth County Beautiful seeks volunteers for waterway cleanup event



FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Help make a positive impact on local waterways by joining Keep Forsyth County Beautiful (KFCB) for the 2013 Rivers Alive Cleanup on Saturday, November 2, at 9 a.m. KFCB encourages families, co-workers, scout troops and organizations to volunteer for the annual waterway cleanup event.

The registration deadline is Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Volunteers will meet at Mary Alice Park (1820 Mary Alice Park Road in Cumming) at 9 a.m. on November 2 to gather supplies. Volunteers will proceed to clean as many lake, river and wetland locations as possible before returning to Mary Alice Park for lunch.
