FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Keep Forsyth County Beautiful encourages everyone to organize a group of volunteers or come as an individual to help remove litter from the roadways in the community as part of the Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup.

Volunteers will meet in the large pavilion at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 20 at Fowler Park at 4110 Carolene Way, off of Atlanta Highway across from the intersection with Castleberry Road.

Following a brief rally, volunteers will split up to clean up roadways in the community for two hours before returning to the large pavilion at Fowler Park for food and fun.

“This annual cleanup event, held in conjunction with the nationwide Great American Cleanup, is a fantastic opportunity for citizens, community organizations, businesses or clubs to really make a positive impact on our community,” said Tammy Wright, environmental program manager.

“It is always great to see the community come together for events such as this, to help make our county the best it can be.”
