Johns Creek woman reports $50K jewelry stolen



JOHNS CREEK, Ga.–– A Wren Ridge resident told police more than $50,000 in jewelry was stolen from her May 31 while she was moving.

The victim told police that she had just moved and hired a moving company to help her take her belongings to her new residence.

The victim put her expensive jewelry in a red bag which was nowhere to be found after the move was completed. The victim reported the bag contained a $10,000 diamond engagement ring, a $10,000 diamond tennis bracelet and several other rings and necklaces, valued between $100 and $10,000 each.

The victim intends to press criminal charges against the moving company and was given a case reference number and a victim’s rights pamphlet.
