JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – The city of Johns Creek is currently in the process of establishing its 2014 millage rate and has set three hearings for public opinion on the process:
• Monday, June 16 at 11:30 a.m.
• Monday, June 16 at 6 p.m.
• Monday, July 14 at 7 p.m.
All citizens are invited to attend and participate in the public hearings, which will be at Johns Creek City Hall council chambers at 12000 Findley Road, Suite 300.
Action to adopt the final millage rate for 2014 is scheduled to take place at the council meeting Monday, July 14, which begins at 7 p.m. or as close thereafter as possible following the last public hearing at 6 p.m.
The city, incorporated in Dec. 1, 2006, now has a published five-year history of its tax digest, property revenues and millage rate.
