JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – Qualifying for Johns Creek’s special election to fill City Council Posts 4 and 6 will be held Monday, March 3 through Wednesday, March 5.
The special election will be held May 20.
The special election became necessary when Councilmembers Bev Miller and Ivan Figueroa resigned their seats.
Residents interested in qualifying should come to the City Clerk’s Office at Johns Creek City Hall, 12000 Findley Road, Suite 400, between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., or 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to qualify.
Each candidate must meet the qualifications of the charter and code of the city of Johns Creek, as well as all applicable state and constitutional laws, pursuant to Georgia Election Code 21-2-132. The qualifying fee for each post is $450.
