Jewelry boxes taken from Forsyth County home



CUMMING, Ga. — A thief kicked in a door and stole costume jewelry from a woman’s home, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s incident report.

Between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Feb. 8, a thief kicked in the back door of a woman’s home in the 4400 block of Chestatee Heights Road and stole two jewelry boxes.

The victim said the boxes contained costume jewelry and a 35-mm camera.

Televisions, artwork, a DVD player and other valuable items were overlooked.
