It’s a Starry Night: STAR House holds annual fundraiser

ROSWELL, Ga. – STAR House will hold its annual Starry Night fundraiser Oct. 13 at the historic Voila Salon from 7 to 11 p.m.

Tickets to Starry Night are $70 per person, and parking will be available at City Hall. The event will include a live auction, music, dining and dancing.

STAR House aims to help children who are struggling in school due to academic troubles, disengagement or peer pressure. They provide students with teachers and mentors to help them with homework, school projects, test preparation and good study habits.

The organization serves over 250 students at Mimosa Elementary, Esther Jackson Elementary, Elkins Point Middle and Roswell High. They also aid 150 elementary school students in a summer camp to focus on minimizing the loss of learning that frequently occurs during the break.
