CUMMING, Ga. — A man got a suspicious call from someone who identified himself as “Capt. Davis” of the Forsyth County warrants unit, according to Forsyth County incident report.
The call came from a 770 area code number at about 7 p.m. Feb. 3, and the caller asked to speak to the man’s daughter.
The man asked why he wanted to speak to her, and he said he could not discuss the nature of the call and hung up.
The man called the south precinct to talk to someone in the warrants unit and find out why they wanted to speak to his daughter.
Deputies told the man there is no “Capt. Davis” that works for the warrants unit.
