ALPHARETTA, Ga. – The students at the Equestrian Reserve in Forsyth’s Alpharetta had the chance to make their horses ready for Halloween.
Nearly 100 children dressed up themselves and their horses in themed costumes. One horse was a bag of Skittles while its stall was a candy shop. The riders of the horse were dressed as pieces of candy.
“The entire month of October, the children and their families have been planning the stall and costume designs for 16 horses,” said Donna Romeu, owner of the Equestrian Reserve. “Each team of students created these stalls.”
The 16 horses were taken on a tour of the track Oct. 27 for family and friends of the riders to see in the 12th annual event. The horses were dressed as everything from Superman and Eeyore to a rainbow, each showing the creativity of its riders.
The Equestrian Reserve is located at 739 Old Alpharetta Road, Alpharetta. They can be found online at www.theequestrianreserve.com.
