ALPHARETTA, Ga. — The 8U Hopewell Bandits ended their season in style on Sunday, June 29, placing first out of sixteen teams in the Kennesaw Railroad Rumble at Adams Park. In the final game, the Eastside Thunder held the lead 8-6 after the top of the 6th inning. The Bandits roared back, plating 3 runs in the bottom of the final inning, with Bryson Tyldesley hitting a hard double to right center to score Will Critchfield and Gavin Wein to win the game.
“We were behind in every single game today, but this is a team that never gives up,” said head coach Michael Cross. “I’m so proud of these boys.”
