CUMMING, Ga. — A man got into a fight with an off-duty deputy and fell in the woods, according to a Cumming Police incident report.

On Jan. 10, officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1500 Market Place Boulevard, in reference to a suspicious person.

Dispatchers told officers that the man was found lying in the middle of the parking lot and had gotten into a fight with an off-duty deputy beside Pollo Tropical.

When officers arrived, they walked in the woods by Walmart where the man had fallen.

Officers said he was unresponsive and his eyes were rolled to the back of his head with a can of Ultra Duster multi-purpose air duster in his right hand.

Officers dragged the man up the hill in the woods, and he woke up unaware of what was going on.

Officers said they had dealt with the same man at Target and Walmart, and both stores wanted him off their property.

Officers said “he was escorted to the hospital previously [that day] in reference to huffing aerosol products from Target and Walmart.”

The man said he had been homeless for several weeks.

Andrew Fisher, 22, was charged with loitering and public drunkenness, misdemeanors, and taken to the hospital before going to jail.
