Gas siphoned from Forsyth County cars

CUMMING, Ga. — A thief took gas caps and gasoline from several Forsyth County cars, according to a sheriff’s incident report.

At 8:50 a.m. on Dec. 31, a county employee told deputies when he arrived at work he found a green garden hose, a yellow gas can funnel and a fruit juice drink container on one of the county’s cars.

They found three cars missing fuel or a gas cap.

A gas cap was stolen from a Ford F-150.

An eighth of a tank of gasoline was removed from a Ford Taurus. A quarter tank of gas was taken from a Chevrolet Trailblazer along with the gas cap.

Deputies were unable to obtain fingerprints from the cars.
