ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Four people were arrested Dec. 10 for allegedly trying to use fake credit cards at the Best Buy on North Point Drive.
Employees said three men and a woman were all trying to use fake cards to buy items. Jonesha Z. Arnold, 19, of Decatur, had a credit card denied when she tried to buy two computers. The card came back as a fake.
When told of this, she quickly walked out of the store. Justin Donnell Tiller, 23, of Atlanta, allegedly tried to do the same thing with the same result. Two others, Mauricio Xavier Jackson, 23, of Decatur and Jamal Vondell Diggs, 25, were also stopped by employees for similar issues.
All four were arrested for credit card forgery. Diggs, a convicted felon, was found with a handgun in his pocket and was also charged with felon in possession of a firearm.
