CUMMING, Ga. — After a baseball coach made cuts after try outs, he got harassing text messages from an unknown phone number, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s incident report.
The baseball coach of Lambert High School, 805 Nichols Road, told deputies the tryouts were on Feb. 3, and later that evening he got the text messages.
He believed it was a parent who sent them, so he and the athletic director looked up the phone number in the school database. He said the number could not be found.
Then, the Lambert IT specialist searched the number using social media, and it linked to a man.
The principal mailed a certified letter to the man that said he was not allowed on the school grounds, and he was issued a criminal trespass warning.
