FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. – Scott Wilson, former owner of the personal chef service Healthy Home Cooking in Cumming and Alpharetta, has released a new cookbook titled “The Legacy Garden.”
Wilson will be returning to Alpharetta to promote the book on Sunday, Oct. 20. The event will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at The Bistro, at 6535 Shiloh Road, Suite 700.
Samples will be offered of a few of the recipes, and the book will be available for purchase.
“The Legacy Garden” features 130 recipes of traditional and new Southern family favorites.
Scott wrote the book with his mother, who maintains a 2-acre garden with his father in southwest Alabama.
While living in Cumming, Scott was president of the Atlanta chapter of the U.S. Personal Chefs Association and was also named their Chef of the Year. He also served on the program advisory board for the Culinary Department of the Arts Institute of Atlanta.
His previous cookbooks are “Dining Under the Magnolia,” “Healthy Home Cooking” and “Eating Healthy, Eating Right.”
