Forged prescription in Milton leads to police response



MILTON, Ga. – Milton Police were dispatched to the CVS pharmacy May 26 at 13933 Ga. 9 in reference to a forged prescription.

A pharmacist was given a prescription for hydrocodone and suspected it to be forged, according to the report.

He called the phone number on the prescription and the doctor confirmed that the prescription was forged, according to the report.

The pharmacist then called police and was unsuccessful in stalling the suspect, according to the report.

Police have a suspect at this time.
