Five athletes sign from Alpharetta High School



ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Alpharetta High School had five seniors sign letters of intent to play sports at university, including three basketball players, one diver and one baseball player. 


Ty Toney signed with Appalachian State University to play basketball. Pictured with Toney are mother Leetrice Toney and sister Destiny as well as Athletic Director Kirk Alexander, head coach Fredrick Hurt and Principal Shannon Kersey.

Lauren Brown signed with Elon University to play basketball. Pictured with Brown are parents Kowalski and Erma Brown, Andre Jackson, Athletic Director Kirk Alexander, Principal Shannon Kersey, Keisha Iton, Angela Hurt, Clemmit Newsome, Tony Gorrell and head coach Mike House.

Jack Nyquist signed with the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill) to dive.
