Dunwoody Fencing Club moves to Roswell: Homecoming event Dec. 8

ROSWELL, Ga. — Dunwoody Fencing Club welcomes visitors to its new 13,000-square-foot facility at 735 West Crossville Road in Roswell (the same shopping center as Pike Nursery).

The Dunwoody Fencing Club is the first United States Fencing Coaches Association Guild Academy Club in Georgia. This designation identifies clubs that demonstrate the gold standard of coaching. All of the coaches are certified by the United States Fencing Coaches Association.

The fencing club offers beginning, intermediate and advanced training. Individual instruction is available and recommended. The beginning-level classes are designed to introduce students to the art of fencing, teach fundamentals, build stamina and increase self-esteem. The intermediate and advanced classes focus on techniques and strategies preparing students for competition.

In 2012, in addition to earning many high school, regional, national and international successes, Dunwoody Fencing Club had the honor of most of its fencers being named to the U.S. Fencing All-Academic Team.
