Don’t speed in front of Alpharetta cops

ALPHARETTA, Ga. — A Canton man was arrested for reckless driving Sept. 6 after a police cruiser allegedly saw him racing along Ga. 400 with two other cars.

The reporting officer said at 9:45 p.m. he was merging onto Ga. 400 northbound at Old Milton Parkway when he saw three vehicles drive past him at speeds he estimated to be about 100 mph. He saw a dark motorcycle with the driver wearing a bright orange shirt, a dark Camaro and a dark Audi racing together. The officer was only able to pull over the biker, Daniel Ryan Harris, 24, of Canton, who allegedly said he did not know the other drivers and decided to join them in their race.
