ROSWELL, Ga. — A dispute Sept. 19 over who was sober enough to drive ended with a man pointing a gun at several people, including his family.
The victims said Norberto Rivera-Rivera, 40, of Marlin Drive, Roswell, had tried to drive after drinking and they took his keys away from him. Angered by this, Rivera-Rivera fought with them, then went to his truck to retrieve his pistol, which he then pointed at several people, including three juveniles. He then ran away, dropping the gun.
Rivera-Rivera was quickly found and charged with aggravated assault with a gun, battery and cruelty to children.
