Cumming Toastmasters Club member wins speech contest

CUMMING, Ga. — Scott Miller, a member of the Community Voice Toastmasters Club in Cumming, won the local Humorous Speech Contest on Sept. 14, at the Northside-Forsyth Hospital meeting room.

Miller moved on and competed Toastmasters District 44 Division H contest on Saturday, Oct 5, held at the Suwanee Library and came in fourth place.

Community Voice Toastmasters is a nonprofit organization open to the community, and invites guests to join to learn how to effectively communicate in business, family or social environments.

The club meets from 6:50 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays at the meeting room of the Holiday Inn Express, 870 Buford Highway in Cumming off Ga.400, exit 14.
