Crabapple ABWA announces award winners

NORTH FULTON, Ga. — The Crabapple chapter of the American Business Women’s Association honored three women during its meeting last month, including announcing its Woman of the Year.

Carol Grote of Sandy Springs was named the chapter’s Woman of the Year. Chapter President Pam Santoro said it was because of her work with the chapter as well as the ABWA Atlanta-area chapter.

Roswell resident Tillie O’Neal-Kyles received the award for Business Advocate of the Year because of her community involvement with her foundation Every Woman Works, Santoro said.

Alandra Boggan of Johns Creek was given the Special Advocate of the Year award. Santoro said she received the honor because of her membership recruitment efforts and development she has done for the chapter.

The ABWA Crabapple chapter has members from Alpharetta, Dunwoody, East Cobb, Johns Creek, Milton, Roswell and Sandy Springs. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. For information, visit
