ROSWELL, Ga. – Chambrel Roswell, a local Brookdale Senior Living community, will host a special tribute in honor of military men, women and families Nov. 8.
Guests are encouraged to bring their families and loved ones. Attendees will enjoy refreshments, appetizers and the opportunity to meet other veterans as well as community residents. Exclusive tours will be offered. Rick Joslyn and Lewis Varnell, who have both worked with the Atlanta History Center for many years, will be in full World War II military attire to present their WWII memorabilia. Guests are welcome to bring in their own WWII memorabilia for Joslyn and Varnell to offer information and appraise.
“We are proud to honor all veterans, including those who make our community their home,” said Jim Cunningham, executive director of Chambrel Roswell. “We appreciate all of the sacrifices that our veterans and their families have made for our freedom. They’ve served our country and it’s our privilege to serve them. We look forward to this memorable patriotic event and for the opportunity to meet some new friends.”
